Yeah its a cool sword, iconic to Dark souls, just feel its not up to scratch with the other options. not to stellar when it came to pvp tho since as you said if anyone paying a inkling of attention would just roll past it but i had like atleast 30 str 20 dex? and 30-35 int at the time so it did fairly okay.

PvP wise, after dumping almost all my stats into int (which is the primary scaling for the MLGS) and using it for almost ~70 fights, I ALWAYS hit for less than I recieve against an estoc or light weapon. While lightning is effective against 6 bosses in the game, and other elements also have a few bosses and enemies they stomp, no boss has a weakness to magic. There are very few enemies with a weakness to magic, and the ones that are susceptable to magic are fairly lame, the only one ive found was those rock enemies at archdraon peak.
Claws and wolnirs holy sword special attack are also fairly bad. Have also tried almost all of the weapons/ play styles (with the exception of using miracles) and all of the greatswords, and changed up stats to scale, there are a few weapons that could use some love, and I feel the moonlight greatsword is one of them. Quick to swing and easy to stunlock without using all your stamina. Straight swords are by far the easiest way to go, especially for pvp. Ive played through the game a couple of times now, with completely different builds and weapons each time.
